Purchasing Manager - BUPA

The Role
It's not just the variety of goods and services we buy that make this proposition so attractive. It's the opportunity to put your good ideas into practice. Right now, we're in the process of rebranding 25 former BUPA Hospitals as Spire Healthcare. Naturally, we want the highest of standards from the very start. So we're reviewing everything, including all our suppliers, contracts and processes.
Essentially, we're looking for Purchasing Managers with experience in either clinical (e.g. prostheses and drugs) or non-clinical (e.g. caterers and desks) fields to handle all our purchasing - except IT. A large-scale, big-ticket background will help, and the more you know about e-auctions and due diligence, the better. However, it's your long-term thinking that will set you apart. It's not always about the cheapest option on the day. If you
can guarantee the best quality and value for our patients, then we should talk.
