Finance Managers – Operations
Location(s): Suffolk and Fife, Scotland – relocation available

Our Client is a major blue-chip company, operating globally in FMCG. Employing over 5000 people world-wide, operating in 200 countries, the UK turnover alone is in excess of £1 billion. Although our Client is such a large player in its market, their work ethic is far from beaurocratic with them encouraging autonomy and the freedom to develop in an exciting environment.

The Role

Working closely with business units to deliver required financial controls / standards and effective reporting / forecasting practices at site, you will deliver MfgPro retirement and successful start-up of Oracle reporting systems including GEMMS retirement, ensure that the Client's Finance operating model is implemented at site level including any people, systems and structural implications and lead the finance operations agenda at site. You will deliver the gap analysis and action plan from the “As Is” to the “To Be” structures from a people and systems perspective, own the resourcing plan and provide flawless execution of any employee implications on site. Additionally, you would deliver the Client's standard financial reporting systems and bench them as such against other sites (includes weekly Labour, Raw material closes), maintain financial integrity of the site balance sheet and financial practices through the change, define and support people development into new roles within the Logistics, Finance and Operations as part of the change, develop an effective team working culture in Logistics and Finance as a result of the change, integrate capital management into the new structure, be responsible for evaluating the financial impact of change initiatives, capital tracking and reporting as well as deliver accurate forecasting information

The Person
Our Client is seeking a financially qualified – management accountant or equivalent preferred - driven member for their team, preferably with financial experience in operations environment. Project Management experience is useful with an ability to effectively manage system and people change a key skill. You'll be expected to drive through to a result against tight timelines, have an ability to analyse complex situations and recommend correct course of action, and the ability to offer sound guidance to Senior Management.
You should also possess an ability to influence direct customer groups, and manage the differing requirements from these groups in a cohesive manner.
